The EUGLOH Community is honoured to count among its professors the winner of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics, Alain Aspect.
Professor at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School/Université Paris-Saclay, Associate Professor at the École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and Director Emeritus of Research at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, he has been recognized for his pioneering experiments on quantum entanglement alongside two other international researchers, John F. Clauser and Anton Zeilinger. Their scientific breakthroughs have paved the way towards quantum technologies.
